The STEMMING training component

A simple public journey built on a rigorous shared architecture.

Learners see four connected pillars and eight stackable mini-credentials. Behind each offer are explicit outcomes, at least 10 structured learning hours, assessment evidence, accessibility review and a named human escalation route.

Compare the outcome, target group, level, workload, prerequisites, assessment and current cohort status.

Use concise explainers, tutorials, notebooks, simulations, scenarios, challenge work and guided self-study.

Complete an auditable quiz, notebook, design task, report, scenario decision, pitch or project artefact.

Apply the evidence

Use approved evidence in an existing course, challenge, staff-development offer, internship or venture pathway where available.

What every mini-credential must define

A common quality profile

Every mini-credential follows a shared profile so that outcomes, workload, assessment, support and recognition conditions can be compared clearly across the consortium.

Learning outcomes

Four to six learner-centred outcomes mapped to technical, digital, green, entrepreneurship and transversal competence areas where relevant.

Workload

At least 10 structured learning hours plus assessment. A 25–30 hour or 1 ECTS-equivalent design is used only where local recognition is confirmed.

Assessment blueprint

Evidence type, criteria, pass threshold, permitted AI use, feedback, resubmission, moderation and appeal route.

Inclusive delivery

Accessible files and interactions, flexible participation modes, inclusive examples and a human route for reasonable support needs.

Responsible AI

AI may explain, coach, triage and provide formative feedback. High-stakes decisions remain under qualified human oversight.

Credential evidence

Each cohort states its issuer, learning outcomes, assessment evidence, credential metadata and validity conditions before applications open.

This is the structure learners and external audiences should see. Each pillar contributes two formal mini-credential routes, and entrepreneurship remains a full fourth pillar as well as a cross-cutting practice.

Green STEM Educational Agent Lab

AI assistance with visible limits and human escalation.

The project plans curriculum-aware virtual tutors, learning and venture coaching, ticketing and expert escalation. The portal connects participants to reviewed guidance, request tracking and the learning routes published for each cohort. AI-assisted support is designed with human supervision and clear escalation.

Recognition and certification

Recognition you can evaluate before you enrol.

Each published cohort identifies the delivering institution, workload, assessment, issuer, fee and eligibility. Local credit or professional recognition is shown only where it has been formally confirmed; mentoring, internships and venture support are presented as separate pathways with their own capacity and selection conditions.

What is STEMMING?

STEMMING is a European higher-education initiative developing short, assessed learning across Agentic AI, smart green and solar systems, quantum trust and security, and venture creation.

Who is the training for?

The main audiences are BSc, MSc and PhD learners, academic staff, professional university staff and selected ecosystem participants. Each cohort page confirms its own level, prerequisites and local eligibility.

How is the offer organised?

The public architecture contains four connected pillars and eight stackable mini-credentials. Local courses, challenge weeks and staff-development offers can implement those credentials in different settings.

How much time does a credential require?

A successful project completion is designed around at least 10 structured learning hours plus competence assessment. Any larger workload or local ECTS equivalence is confirmed by the delivering institution for a specific cohort.

What evidence will I produce?

Depending on the credential, evidence may include a quiz, notebook, design worksheet, scenario decision, short report, pitch or project artifact. The course page states the assessment before enrolment.

Will I receive a certificate or credit?

Successful learners may receive a project or delivering-HEI credential under the approved procedures for that cohort. Local recognition, ECTS equivalence and issuer wording are never assumed and must be confirmed on the course page.
